Rescheduling at least 3 Business Days in Advance
In cases of emergency, it may be possible if we have availability, but there may also be a rescheduling fee for the change depending on the notice. If we need to reschedule, usually it will be based on the assigned team member's next availability to be fair, as they have often turned down other events and sessions to block off the original time. Because we block off the availability in our schedules to make sure we can be available to delivery you great photos, we may turn down other events and photo shoots, so we do have a charge to be fair to our team members.
If the original photographer is not available for your new dates and we have availability with another photographer (need to absolutely change the assigned photographer), the rescheduling fee will be the cost of the deposit to help compensate the original assigned photographer's time, especially if they turned down other sessions and it is less than 2 weeks away.
Rescheduling Last Minute
If you are rescheduling last minute (less than 48 hours), you will be forfeiting the deposit (50% of the balance) and a new deposit will need to be made to book a new session. For less than 24 hours notice, the total balance will typically be charged and a new booking would have to be completed on our website. These last minute cases apply for all bookings re-scheduled last minute (if it's the same photographer or if a new photographer needs to be assigned).
If you are looking to fully cancel your shoot or event, please check out our full cancellation policy here: https://weddingsnap.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2569219-what-is-your-cancellation-policy-for-professional-photography-?b_id=8492
Please email us if you are looking to reschedule at email@example.com. Please keep in mind we are in the office Mon-Fri 9am-5pm PST, so we may take a day or so to get back to you about rescheduling, as we will also need to check with team members to see what the options are.
