Our Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google Play, while we fix that issue, please download directly the installation file here (attached to this article, at the very bottom).
How to Install the App using our APK file
An Android Package Kit (APK) is the file format used by the Android for the installation of mobile apps. Very much like Windows systems use a ".exe" file for installing programs.
Before installing the APK file on your phone you will need to make sure that third-party apps are allowed on your device. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Security -> and check Unknown Sources to allow the installation of apps from sources other than the Google Play Store. If you have Android 8.0 (named ‘Oreo’) installed, you can skip that part, you'll simply be prompted to allow your file manager to install APKs the first time you attempt to do so.
Here's a step by step on how to install the app on your phone, the first 4 steps are to allow third-party apps to be installed on your phone (so you can skip them if you are on Android 8.0):
2) Click on "Security"
3) Check "Unkown Sources"
4) It should look like this after you've checked it:
5) Click on the EversnapForAndroid.apk file (attached to this article). Once you do, the following pop-up will appear, click on "Open". It's completely safe, we promise.
6) Once it opens, click "Install"
7) Wait a few seconds...
8) Done! Click on "Open" if you want to go ahead and start sharing your photos :)
9) Enjoy our free app :)
